“Thank you! Mahalo nui loa!”
It feels so good to pause and say THANK YOU!
Saying thank you is one of the most important and beautiful gestures in our everyday lives. By saying thank you, we show respect to a person for their commitment and honor them. Furthermore, saying thank you is nourishing - both for the people who receive the thanks and those who express it. Gratitude brings feelings of happiness, strengthens social bonds and the ability to empathize, reduces stress, brings satisfaction and helps to find meaning and fulfillment in life.
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the following:
- AlohaSpirit has been based in the beautiful Seefeld district of Zurich for over six months now. We feel at home here, everything has settled in perfectly and we are very grateful to have found this wonderful place. Mahalo nui loa to everyone who has contributed to this happy new beginning!
- Our annual June workshops and events with Kumu Keala from Hawai'i are already history again. We had the pleasure of welcoming many wonderful people to Kumu's classes, our annual hula performance and numerous other events. We were touched by their joy and participation. Mahalo nui loa to Kumu Keala and all those who honored his workshops with their presence!
- AlohaSpirit has been around for an incredible 28 years and was founded by my mother Tutu Myra and myself. Over many years, we have been able to accompany people into health, based on the Hawaiian healing arts. A huge thank you to everyone for their loyalty, support and appreciation of our work. None of this would be possible without you. Mahalo nui loa!
- Our annual Lomilomi training is in full swing. Many thanks to all Lomilomi practitioners/therapists who have placed their trust in our school. We are honored that more and more wonderful Lomilomi practitioners are sharing this unique art and carrying ALOHA out into the world. Mahalo nui loa!
- Hula connects, strengthens and moves. We are delighted that our commitment to this important cultural asset from Hawai'i continues to be met with great interest. With additional classes for beginners as well as for children, we have expanded our offer to meet the demand. Hula training will start again in mid-August and we are very much looking forward to it. Mahalo nui loa!
Thank you very much! I look forward to many more moments together!
