In the 4-day Module 1 workshop, you receive the necessary knowledge to be able to apply the basic techniques of traditional Lomilomi therapy independently.
The completed Module 1 lays the foundation for all further courses. After this introductory course, you can book all other offers individually.
Learning Objectives
- In Module 1 you will learn to apply the basic techniques of the Lomilomi full body massage independently. You are prepared for the continuation of the Lomilomi course.
- You can explain the mechanisms of a Lomilomi treatment and name the most important indications/contraindications.
- You are familiar with the most important muscles and joints.
- You know the basic concepts of Hawaiian culture, hula dance and Hawaiian singing (chants).

Schedule: The workshop will be held with a maximum of 14 participants. In order to learn the massage techniques, you will practice on participants; in return, you will get the chance to lie down and experience how the massage feels. In addition, you will gain insight into Hawaiian culture through in-depth exposure to hula, song, and theoretical knowledge. This knowledge is part of the Lomilomi diploma training.
