Bodyfeet Lomilomi Modul 1 Workshop

Deepening Massage skills (reverse side) builds on the content from the module 1. The focus is on the back of the body. The course provides you with deeper anatomical knowledge, enabling you to perform a Lomilomi full body massage successfully and in the Hawai'i tradition.

In this course we will go through those twenty main muscles that are central to our posture and musculoskeletal system and accordingly often cause discomfort. The choice of muscles was made by our teacher in Hawai'i, Kumu Dane Kaohelani Silva.

Day 2: Hips and back (special topic: piriformis syndrome, ISG)

Our retreat can be described as further training for your career as a Lomilomi therapist, as a personal growth process, as an inspiring encounter with the culture and traditions of Hawai'i or simply as a timeout. In this week, 5 full days, 60 hours - secluded in nature - you will experience and learn a lot.

Bodyfeet Lomilomi Modul 1 Workshop

For all Lomilomi practitioners and learners who have attended Module 1 Workshop at AlohaSpirit, we offer this unique opportunity.

A traditional and very effective Lomilomi work in a sitting position, without oil and with clothes. Can be performed anywhere, quickly and very efficiently. Ideal for tension and pain in the neck, shoulders and thorax.

Day 3: Arms and Elbows (Special topic: Epigenetics and TOS: Thoracic Outlet Syndrome)

We will take two days to immerse ourselves in the world of Lomilomi Integrative together. You will learn how to work under the body and integrate ‘underbodywork’ into your existing massage routines. Through hands-on practice, you will apply the techniques and deepen your understanding of flowing movements and learn to optimise your posture and movement (body mechanics).

The prerequisite for this workshop is the AlohaSpirit diploma.

Our diploma workshop expands your knowledge for a professional future as a Lomilomi therapist. Prerequisite for participation is a successful completion of all other modules. At the end of the course, you will take a practical and a theoretical exam.
