Consolidation afternoon for Lomilomi practitioners and learners. Consolidation of knowledge from the Module 1. Suitable for all who have attended this course. An optimal opportunity for repetition and as a refresher.

In this course, we will go through the twenty main muscles that are central to our posture and musculoskeletal system and accordingly often cause discomfort. The selection of muscles was made by our teacher in Hawai'i, Kumu Dane Kaohelani Silva.

Day 1: Neck and shoulders (special topic: TOS, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome)

Deepening massage skills (front) is based on the content of the Module 1; the focus is on the front of the body. The course will provide you with additional techniques, joint mobilizations, and anatomical knowledge to perform Lomilomi therapy professionally, successfully and in the Hawai'i tradition.

The peeling that consists of red and white Hawaiian salt - "Pa'akai" - removes excess water and toxins from the body, refines the skin texture and stimulates circulation.

Salt has always been adored in Hawai'i and is used in medicine and ceremonies in addition to being used in food.

Special day: for Lomilomi practitioners and learners as preparation for the intensive week. Consolidation of knowledge from all workshops: Demos, repetition, supervision, refresher and more.

Our retreat can be described as further training for your career as a Lomilomi therapist, as a personal growth process, as an inspiring encounter with the culture and traditions of Hawai'i or simply as a timeout. It is what you make of your time. In this week - secluded in nature - you will experience and learn a lot.

This 4-day basics workshop corresponds to the Modul 1 of the Lomilomi-Therapy-Formation. You receive the necessary knowledge to be able to apply the basic techniques of traditional Lomilomi therapy independently. The completed basics workshop lays the foundation for all further courses. After this introductory course, you can book all other offers individually.

For all Lomilomi practitioners and learners who have attended Module 1 Workshop at AlohaSpirit, we offer this unique opportunity.

Lomilomi Noho is a massage that is conducted in a seated position and was developed by our teacher Kumu Dane Kaohelani Silva. The massage is done without a table, without oil and without changing clothes.

Due to the seated position, Lomilomi Noho is particularly suitable for upper body ailments. Namely, the massage helps against pain and tension in the neck, shoulders, back, chest or arms.

Lomilomi Noho reduces muscle tension, stretches tendons and ligaments, thus improving joint mobility and stimulating the nerves.

Lomilomi Noho is well suited as a quick massage that can be performed anywhere and is very efficient at the same time.

Our diploma training includes supervision of your skills in relation to Lomilomi. You show us how you massage another diploma student, how you conduct anamnesis, pre- and post-talk. After two hours the roles are exchanged. The supervision is also preparation for the diploma examination.

You receive the necessary knowledge to be able to apply the basic techniques of traditional Lomilomi therapy independently. The completed basics workshop lays the foundation for all further courses. After this introductory course, you can book all other offers individually.

Bodyfeet Lomilomi Modul 1 Workshop

Our diploma workshop expands your knowledge for a professional future as a Lomilomi therapist. Prerequisite for participation is a successful completion of all other modules. At the end of the course, you will take a practical and a theoretical exam.
